Avocado promises future...
Stating that the avocado is one of the promising fruits, Chairman of Muratpaşa district Chamber of Agriculture in Antalya province Nazif Alp said that the farmers continue to invest in the production of avocados. "But balanced production should be done," Alp added.
Explaining that agricultural supports always encourage farmers, Alp concluded, "Supports should be given on the invoice of the products sold. Supports on the size of lands are good for producers with a lot of land, but it does not mean anything to those who produce in closed areas like us. As Antalya farmers, we want support for the product."
