Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry issued a report of vegetable production in Turkey... According to this report, total vegetable production has increased about 5 million tons thanks to    "implemented policies and rising productivity" since 2002. "The amount of production increased by 5.4 percent in cereals and other crops, 2.7 percent in vegetables, and 5.8 percent in fruits, beverages and spice plants. According to TURKSTAT (Turkish Statistical Institute) data, total vegetable production, which was 25 million 823 thousand 567 tons in 2002, reached 30 million 32 thousand 827 tons in 2018. The report also states that expected vegetable production in 2019 may be exceeding 31 million tons.

Compared to the previous month; forestry products increased by 0.09%, however, agriculture and hunting products decreased by 0.78% and fishing decreased by 7.79%.
