A "Spice Workshop" was gathered by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality...  In the workshop, evaluations were made about the spices and a road map was determined. Metropolitan Municipality, Directorate of Wildlife Protection and Agricultural Services Department of Gaziantep published the final report on spices which take place among local flavours of the province.  Four working groups consisting of experts in the field, "Spices and Gastronomy", "Spices, Medicinal Products and Food-Based Special Products", "Spices, Agriculture and Agriculture" and lastly "Spices, Processing and Economy" carried out studies. In the workshop report, the topic of spices, processing of spices, packaging of spices, use of spices in gastronomy, production of special medicinal products from spices and their ideas were debated from the economical point of wiew. Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, within the scope of the 5th Gastromasa Conference, hosted 20 world renowned chef through the inspiring journey in Turkey. Chefs admired the city's food, art, culture and history. Turkey, adopted in the gastronomic network first UNESCO city of Gaziantep, the owner-chef in the field of gastronomy in the world were the guests. Chefs who visited Gaziantep examined baklava making and got information about local dishes and products. Star chefs who visited Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Coppersmiths Bazaar, along with click-through hammer sounds saw the operations made to the copper closely. Tasting the spices unique to Antep, the chefs showed great interest in Gaziantep's history, culture, art and local delicacies.
