Wordly known Salihli cherries, produced in modern cherry orchards in the Kemer district of the town, have been tasting the Europeans' mouths for 4 years. Haluk Nayman, owner of the largest cherry orchard in the Aegean region which is 78 hectars in Salihli, a county of Manisa, said that they had set up the orchard in 2011 since they thought that Turkey really needed modern and large fruit gardens.
