Lavender has started to be harvested which has become widespread rapidly in Denizli in recent years... Lavender that used to be only 3-4 decares in 2015 and now exceeds 1000 decares, contributes to the economy both in terms of production and tourism. Lavender which is growing in a thousand decare area with increasing production demand in the province, is expected to rise up to 50 thousand decares in the coming years. "Lavender Field Day" was organized by Denizli Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry for the promotion of the 50-decare lavender demonstration parcel established in 2016 in Acıpayam district within the scope of Dissemination of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants to farmers and the sector.
