According to the Turkey Statistical Institute data, about 14 thousand tons of avocados produced in Turkey in the last 5 years. Last year, avocado production increased by 33 percent compared to the previous year and reached 4 thousand 209 tons. All of the said production was made in the Mediterranean Region. Antalya produced the most production with 3,409 tons, followed by Mersin with 699 tons, Muğla with 78 tons and Hatay with 23 tons. Most exports to Russia...
