ANCHOVY EXPORTS CONTINUE TO INCREASE WHILE BRANDED PRODUCTS MAKE CONTRIBUTION...

During the fishing season of 2019-20, 6 million 351 thousand 855 dollars of anchovy exports were made. Belgium ranked first with 1 million 824 thousand 311 dollars in foreign sales. Eastern Black Sea Exporters' Association (DKİB) made a compilation of the data and in the hunting season covering the period of September 1, 2091- April 30, 2020, 1 745 tonnes of anchovy was sold to 23 countries from Turkey. 6 million 351 thousand 855 dollars were obtained from the said export. In this period, the highest anchovy export was made to Belgium with 1 million 824 thousand 311 dollars. This country was followed by France with 1 million 806 thousand 521 dollars, USA with 766 thousand 24 dollars, Germany with 764 thousand 373 dollars and Spain with 268 thousand 668 dollars.
