Turkey’s whitefish exports, at $21.1 million, has recorded a 41% increase year-on-year during the January-February period this year. The country exported a total of $175.4 million worth of sea products during the first two months of 2020, according to an Anadolu Agency (AA) report published Wednesday, citing data from the Aegean Exporters' Association (EİB). Press release... The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has ruled in favour of Turkish exporters and dropped its preliminary anti-dumping duty and countervailing duty investigations on imports of dried sour cherry. The ITC unanimously ruled Tuesday in favor of the Turkish exporters. A detailed ruling will be made public on Feb. 18, which could be appealed. Farmers in va...

The department announced it finalized the investigation on Friday in line with complaints and petitions filed by a Dried Tart Cherry Trade Committee of various American firms in the industry. The department's decision will be evaluated by the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on or around Jan. 21, 2020, read the statement. If the ITC makes affirmative final injury determinations, additional customs duties might be imposed on Turkish cherries. If the ITC makes negative final determinations of injury, the investigations will be terminated and no orders will be issued.
