DR. SELİM ÇETİNER: NOT POSSIBLE TO FEED THE WORLD WITH ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
"Organic agriculture costs the planet greatly!" Sabancı University Lecturer Dr. Selim Çetiner said that in order to provide sufficient and high quality nutrients to the world population, which is expected to be 10 billion in 2050, maximum efficiency should be obtained from the unit area and this should be done without negatively affecting the environment and biodiversity. Emphasizing that this is called "Sustainable Concentration" , Çetiner stated, "This is really important in order to protect the environment and to leave a protected environment for future generations."
