According to the results of the sectoral Business Barometer survey held in June conducted by the CEMA on a monthly basis, the overall business environment in Europe remains negative. As in 2012, the business index continued to decline sharply and for the first time since January 2017, the index fell to the negative section of the band and reached -11. Selami İleri, The General Secretary of Turkish Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers' Union, has made an announcement about the latest developments regarding the sectoral performance so far in this year. İleri said, "The Turkish Agricultural Machinery made the highest April export (306 milyon US$) of all times. Our sector, which has grown 21 per cent comparing to the previous year, is the 4th sub-segment with the highest increase in exports among Turkish Machinery."
