The 14th International Congress on Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture (Tekirdağ, 03-05 September 2020) International Congress on Agricultural Mechanization and Energy in Agriculture have been organising three years intervals by different agricultural machinery and biosystem engineering departments in Turkey for 45 years. CEMA (European Agricultural Machinery Association) Business Barometer Results of June... According to the results of the sectoral Business Barometer survey held in June conducted by the CEMA on a monthly basis, the overall business environment in Europe remains negative. As in 2012, the business index continued to decline sharply and for the first time since January 2017, the index fell to the negative section of the band and reached -11. According to the survey which was answered by 140 senior executives in 9 of CEMA member countries, all segments except lawn and horticultural equipment and public procurement in Europe started to be affected by the contraction and the pessimism in the expectations for order purchase in the next six months and the negative picture of the current business environment level stated that it has reached such high levels for the first time since 2016. Our persistent efforts to establish a special department within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which started in 2011 after a recommendation made by the Agricultural Mechanization Board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which we are the Vice President of, has finally yielded fruit. This issue, which has not been finalized due to various developments in our country, particularly in the case of sudden changes regarding the Ministry, even though it has reached to the last stage, has become official with a Directive prepared within the Ministry. TURKISH AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY MADE THE HIGHEST APRIL EXPORT!

Selami İleri, The General Secretary of Turkish Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers' Union, has made an announcement about the latest developments regarding the sectoral performance so far in this year. İleri said, "The Turkish Agricultural Machinery made the highest April export (306 milyon US$) of all times. Our sector, which has grown 21 per cent comparing to the previous year, is the 4th sub-segment with the highest increase in exports among Turkish Machinery."
