TURKEY WAS ELECTED TO THE INTERNATIONAL SUGAR ORGANIZATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS...
Turkey was elected as a member of International Sugar Organization (ISO) Board of Directors during the 56th Council Meeting in London held between 25-29 November 2019. According to the written statement made by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Hadi Tunç and Sugar Department delegation attended the meeting. In the attended committee, Sugar Department Chairman Dr. Mehmet Hasdemir, Head of Monitoring, Control and Coordination Department Chairman Müfit Şimşek and Agriculture and Forestry Expert Fatih Yıldırım took place. At the meetings of the Sugar Council, mutual evaluations were made regarding the important developments taking place in the world sugar market.
