INDIA IMPORTS 50 THOUSAND TONS OF ONION FROM TURKEY AS NEW ORDERS ON THE WAY...
India has suffering reduced crop of onions due to adverse weather conditions, while trying to resolve this problem with products to import from some countries including Turkey. Turkish producers have then exported to India about 50 thousand tons of onions in the last 1.5 months, while preparations have been started to meet new orders. According to information from the AA correspondent, the management of India, under the influence of weather conditions, since the onion yield realized below the expectations of the people had a difficulty to meet the demand. Upon this situation India found the solution by importing this crop. In the meantime some adjustments have been made and import regulations facilitated in India, thus paved the way of imports from some countries among Turkey including onions.
