Turkish Seed Industrialists and Producers Sub-Union (TSÜAB) Board of Directors and Officials of the Ministry of Agricultural Mobilization of Iran held negotiations to facilitate the seed trade between the two countries.

Chairman of TSÜAB Dr. Ahmet Yılmaz and the accompanying TSÜAB Administration attended the Agricultech 2020 Iran Agriculture Fair held in Iran's capital Tehran on January 7-10, at the invitation of Abbas Keshavarz, Minister of Agricultural Mobilization.

In his speech at the opening of the fair, Mr. Abbas Keshavarz, the Minister of Agricultural Mobilization of Iran, stated that seeing the Turkish delegation in their countries made them happy.

After the ceremony, Ahmet Yılmaz noted that they will participate in the workshop to be held in February and added, "Turkish Seed Sector Representatives will visit Iran again in February to share their knowledge and experience with Iranian seeders."

Expressing his satisfaction, Mr. Keshavarz remembered that this workshop will contribute to the cooperation and trade between the seed sectors of the two countries.

After the opening TSÜAB delegation paid visits to sector stakeholders on top of Turkish companies. Yılmaz also said that this fair held in Iran contributed greatly to the trade between two countries.

Following the meeting, Turkish delegation visited the Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Countries (EİT-ECO) Hadi Soleimanpour.

 A meeting was held with Assistant Secretary General Sayed Yahya Akhlaqi, Agriculture, Industry and Tourism Manager Memduh Ünal and Agriculture Unit Representative Ayşegül Yorulmaz.

During the meeting, the road map was discussed on the recognition of ECOSA by ECO (EİT) and mutual exchange of ideas between the ECO (EİT) countries on the development of both the cooperation and trade of the seed sector was exchanged.
