'GREEN GOLD' PISTACHIOS AND BAKLAVA OF GAZİANTEP EVOKE ALL CONSUMERS AND TASTERS...

First of all, hello to everyone...

I am a young businessman living in Gaziantep.

I also would like to share an important message with you regarding the green gold!

Gaziantep pistachios, which we call green gold, really deserve the name today.

Even a commodity exchange is formed. We know that the economic volume of this precious commodity rises year by year.

On the other hand many people, mostly businessmen come from abroad or across the country and  ask to do trade with us.

Wonder why do they come particularly to Gaziantep? The main reason is the local air and water which is very special to this region.

What is more the aroma and taste is authentetically unique. We have a saying around here. If we like something very much, that is called 'fıstık gibi', that means 'like pictachios'.

The small wild species of pistachios found in nature do not have fruits in the sense we know. It must then be cultured through vaccinations. During the period of Etiler, taken to culture for the first time, Pistachio began to be grown in the Southeastern Anatolia and then became widespread in ancient Rome, Spain and France around 100 AD.

Turkey is the largest consumer of pistachio with 130,202 metric tons consumed in 2016 alone. Such consumption represents an annual consumption of 1.64 kilograms per capita. The consumption was an increase from 119,256 metric tons in 2015. As a producer, Turkish pistachios are famous for being rich in nutritional content, uncompetitive quality, and distinctive flavour.
Gaziantep is the province where pistachios are most produced among 56 provinces throughout Turkey. Pistachio, which is mostly consumed by roasting in shelled condition, is widely used in dessert making and pastry, as well as being consumed as a snack.

The last but not the least, our profession is baklava and pistachios. If you want boutique style baklava, you are at the right place. And you should contact us for trading this unique product..

  1. Yeah, I know the taste of this baklava very well. Also whenever I have tried this baklava I just become more hungry to eat more. That's why I always do baklava to order online because I always get very rich and high-quality baklava with it's perfect taste. But I think after seeing your blog from now I could make it by my own.
