TURKEY PRODUCED 256 000 TONS OF RED MEAT FROM APRIL TO JUNE...
Turkey produced 255,455 tons of red meat in the second three months of this year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
The country's red meat production fell by 4.1 percent year-on-year in the second quarter and it was up 20.8 percent on a quarterly basis.
Last year, the country produced 1.12 million tons of red meat, a drop of 0.7 percent from production in 2017.
