MANİSA VITICULTURE RESEARCH INSTITUTE PRODUCES GRAPE JUICE TO SELL ACROSS TURKEY...


The grape juice produced by Manisa Viticulture Research Institute will be sold by Atatürk Forest Farm (AOÇ) throughout the country in order to increase the added value obtained from grapes.

Manisa Viticulture Research Institute Director Akay Ünal said that 2 years ago, they started production of 100 percent natural grape juice antioxidant, plant phenolics and a rich product in terms of food chain two years ago.

Squeezed from fresh fruit and without adding any additives, including drinking water, grape juice was presented to the appreciation of  local people in the first place and saw great demand. Ünal noted that they carry out some works on the capacity and marketing efforts to expand the product across the country.

We will also offer the product to sales points outside Ankara...

Ünal signed a protocol with the Atatürk Forest Farm within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

"This year we started this business by sending 5 tons of grape juice to the sales points of Atatürk Forest Farm in Ankara. The returns on the product were very positive. On demand, we will increase it to 15 tons and present the product to the sales points outside Ankara. We are developing the product range and are going to sell grape juice not only in bottles of 200 milliliters, but also in bottles of litres. We aim to offer it to consumers in the near future. Grape juice should have gainings at least as much as table grapes and raisins," Ünal added.

Ünal also stated that they are working on the grape juice they produce in order to be sold to students in school canteens with "School Food" logo on...
