Turkey's leading producer and exporter of dried fruits K.F.C FOOD AS, has signed a major social responsibility project.

K.F.C. Food Inc. has joined the Fair Labour Association (FLA) Programme to prevent child labour in seasonal agricultural work, which is a major problem in Turkey.

K.F.C. included the producers whom it supplies products to this social responsibility project.

K.F.C., in this framework, gave a “Loyalty Certificate” to 75 producers participated in this programme and also working for 10 years or more.

Turkish Guild of Agricultural Journalists (TGAJ) organized another international event in Antalya after last year's Middle East Agricultural Journalists Forum held in Istanbul. The Antalya Forum, convened with 35 colleagues from 22 countries, took four days between 04 - 08 November and highlighted the key points of agricultural journalism both abroad and in Turkey. Owen Roberts, President of IFAJ and Hugh Maynard, General Manager of IFAJ also participated in the event. During the itinerary international ag-journalists took the opportunity of visiting orchards, greenhouses along with agribusiness sites situated across Antalya region.
