Prepared to become a NATO member in December as the gateway to Europe in the Balkans, which aims to start full membership negotiations with the European Union in October, Northern Macedonia has set its sights on attracting foreign investors to the country. The Macedonians hosted the Chairman of Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association Hayrettin Uçak and Board members in the form of VIP delegation in Skopje.

While the delegation of Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association got the promise from the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev to increase the 8,000 tons of quota applied in the export of Turkish citrus products to Macedonia, to abolish the customs duty on carbonated drinks and fruit juices and to operate the Macedonian customs at the weekend also learned about incentives for investments in Macedonia from Zorica Apotolska, Minister of Foreign Investments.
