DRIED FRUITS EXPORTERS SET ON 100 MILLION DOLLARS TARGET FOR CHINA...

183 percent increase in dry fruit exports to China...

Turkey, the world leader of seedless grapes both in production and exports, reap the benefits the promotional activities carried out in Chinese market in terms of  dried fruit exports to to this country. In January - August 2019 period 183 percent increase attained and amount of exports rose from 3.5 million dollars to 10 million dollars.

The Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters' Association participated in Food2China 2019 Fair held in Guangzhou, China on September 19-21, 2019 and added a new ring to its promotion activities to strengthen the position of Turkish dried fruits in the Chinese market.

Stating that the direction of capital in the world is turning east, the purchasing power of the people in China increases every year and therefore taking position in the Chinese market has become more priority than ever, Birol Celep, Chairman of Aegean Dried Fruit and Products Exporters' Association in Turkey said that they have concentrated on promotion works in China for the last 15 years and began to collect the fruits of their efforts.

The target is to export 100 million dollars dry fruits to China...

Celep also noted that the Chinese people are enthusiastic about tasting new delicacies and they consume fruits intensively while they are nutritioning. "There are over 200 million people in China who are wealthy enough and conscious about healthy food. Furthermore dry fruit products have many benefits to human health, especially sugar balancing, anemia prevention, anemia and iron deficiency relief, cancer prevention, digestion and digestion, eye health protection, blood pressure regulation. We intend to introduce our dried fruits with these aspects and reach an export figure of 100 million dollars in China at the end of 10 years," Celep concluded...
