The fruit of paradise, an indispensable part of the Christmas tables of Christians, the first export journey of the Turkish dried figs in the 2019/20 season as to decorate the world tables will start on 26 September 2019.

Dried figs exporter members of the Southeast Anatolia and Istanbul Exporters' Association came together with the Aegean Exporters at the Dried Figs Advisory Meeting about to determine the first shipment date of the product on which Turkey is the global leader.

Companies participating in the meeting agreed on Thursday September 26, 2019 as the date of first issuance while Turkey Dried Fruits Sector Council suggested.
