AYŞİN IŞIKGECE: WE ARE AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF TİGEM FOR AGRICULTURE ACROSS TURKEY

Ayşin Işıkgece, General Director of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) said, "We are aware of the importance of TİGEM for agriculture and animal husbandry across Turkey."

General Director of TİGEM (an Economic State Organization within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry) Ayşin Işıkgece evaluated and discussed the agenda which contains the measures and precautions with the managers of 17 enterprises scattered all over the country via a teleconference meeting.

Indicating that Turkey and the whole world have gone through a difficult process and that these difficult days will be overcome with unity and solidarity, Işıkgece emphasized that TİGEM has always created these values.

Pointing out that Turkey's agricultural and animal husbandry potential carries maximum importance and influence, Işıkgece added that there would be no situation such as slowing down, delaying or not doing things in terms of TİGEM.

"But a flexible working system is being applied for personnel health in a way that would not disrupt the activities in these days when an extraordinary period was experienced," she added.

Reminding the statement of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, 'Let our farmer continue to produce in this period, the state is always with you', she instructed the enterprise managers to encourage the farmers to produce in their region and to support the producer in taking the necessary measures.
