Prof. Dr. Senih Yazgan, Vice President of Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association, said that the novel coronavirus process is an opportunity to learn a very important lesson for the whole world. Noting that the importance of being adequate and ready, especially in health, education and food, has been re-experienced, Yazgan stated, "Agriculture is an essential element for a country to exist. He taught us that we should shape agriculture with a more scientific and modern approach, without giving up, with intense effort."

Explaining that the production of "strategic" products and the value of the industrial products obtained from them were seen once again in this period, "Even if it is not economical, a new policy should be developed in order to benefit from the industrial products to be obtained from them," Yazgan added.

This situation can be turned into an opportunity for the European Union in production, as the export starts with our full capacity in May and the field production comes into play. It can be preferred more as safe products. However, both the producers and the packers should establish the hygiene conditions at the highest level," Yazgan concluded...
