Within the scope of the 'Programme of Improving Crop Production' initiated by the Ministry, 75 percent of the seeds will be donated to the producers in 21 provinces determined

Türkiye'de tarım alanları azaldıExplaining the issue, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said, "We donate 75 percent  of the seeds to our producers in 21 provinces determined within the scope of this project, in order to prevent the cultivation of the fields in the fields where summer cultivation can be carried out and to participate in the production of all arable land."

Underlining that the continuity of vegetative production and food supply assurance is of great importance for the coming period due to the Covit-19 epidemic, Minister Pakdemirli stated “In this direction, we continue to take measures by taking initiatives before all units of our Ministry and other public institutions and organizations."

Expressing that they started the 'Programme of Improving Crop Production' in order to have no interruption in summer plantings and cultivation in all possible cultivable lands, Pakdemirli added, "With this project, to increase the yield in strategic products such as cereals, legumes and oilseed crops for our country and also to direct our producers to production in this period. Therefore, we aim to increase agricultural production by using the agricultural lands more effectively."
