Our strength lies in vegetables and fruits...

Explaining that 80 percent of Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable exports realized by the associations, made the following assessment related to the current period:
“The new type of coronavirus epidemic has affected the whole world. We encounter problems that are not caused by us. We have members exporting to high risk countries such as Italy and Spain, it is impossible not to be affected. Again, things are slowing down due to the quarantine application in Kapıkule. However, we continue our business. We had a good season as an exporter until the epidemic occurred. For example, the ruble has depreciation; We sell to Russia in their currency. There is a problem with transportation to the Middle East. Our exports are mainly listed as Russia, Iraq, Romania, Ukraine and Germany. We do not have a supply problem for the country; We continue to reach the countries we can reach."
"As the Eastern Mediterranean Region, we will get a very important share in these fruits, not only citrus, but also with the hard core period (apricot, peach and nectarine), there is a serious production and quality," he concluded...
